上海比翼艺术中心品牌介绍

比翼艺术中心是一个自主经营的非营利性艺术中心，包含着艺术和商业两个方面在内。中心的宗旨旨在促进上海以及其他地区当代艺术的发展。就如比翼的英文名字“bizart”一样，比翼的结构包含了商业和艺术两个方面，同时这个名字也真实地体现了我们的生存状态。由于我们所有的艺术活动都是非营利的，同时也受到中国国内有关艺术基金的特殊环境的影响，致使比翼必须有自己活跃的商业部分的运作。由于在中国没有一个公共的基金会给像我们这样的独立艺术组织一些支持，所以我们在商业方面的利润都支持我们去做各种艺术活动，并且保证了我们在本土以及国际艺术世界中的方向。比翼的艺术家居留项目：在过去的几年里，比翼接待了许多来自亚洲，欧洲和美洲（北美和南美）的艺术家。过去的三年里比翼也和世界试验性的艺术家链接项目合作，这个项目由英国艺术理事会（ArtCouncilEngland）和英国领事馆支持。在将当代艺术作品带给观众的同时，居留项目也在生产作品的前提下给上海这个创意的城市提供了艺术性的想法和贡献。国际艺术家在和比翼的合作过程中也增进了自己的专业性和艺术发展，并对这里新的文化，社会和艺术环境做出了反应。比翼将计划继续这个艺术家居留项目并为国际艺术家提供2个月的居留期限，这个项目主要将焦点放在中国之间以及其他东方国家的交流。这个交流项目是比翼指南针项目的其中一部分，其目的在于创造一个亚洲艺术机构，艺术家和策展人之间的网络，我们将必然的选择并邀请这些来自亚洲国家和中国各个省的人士。目前，这个项目拥有的是有限的基金由此所能够提供的服务也是最基础的。比翼现在正寻找核心的基金为项目将来的正式化和发展做好准备。指南针项目提供的住宿将用来接待艺术家和文化工作者，并仅仅主要提供给受邀请的中国和亚洲艺术家/策展人。ArtHub的介绍：关于:ArtHub—支持中国及亚洲其他地区现代艺术创作的非营利机构非常高兴在此向您介绍不久前新成立的香港非营利机构ArtHub。成立ArtHub，是为了支持同为非营利艺术机构的比翼艺术中心举办各类艺术活动，以此进一步发展中国及亚洲其他地区的当代艺术。ArtHub于2007年1月在香港地区成立，旨在为支持中国大陆及亚洲地区的当代艺术创作提供一个实际有效的营运机制。ArtHub背后是一个阵容强大的顾问团，包括40多位著名的艺术专业人士和艺术家。BizArtisaself-supportedandnot-for-profitartcenterthatcombinesartisticandcommercialpursuitswiththeultimategoalofadvancingcontemporaryartinShanghaiandbeyond.Thename“BizArt”referstoourstraddlingtheduelrolesofbusinessandart,andthe“bizarre”natureofourexistence.Sinceallofourartisticundertakingsarenot-for-profit,andbecauseofthepeculiarenvironmentinChinaconcerningfundingforthearts,itisessentialthatBizArtisseenasabusinessentityandmaintainsanactivebusinessside.BecausethereisnopublicfundinginChinaforanindependentorganizationslikeus,allofourbusinessdrivenprofitssupportsourvariousartisticendeavorsandensuresourfutureinthelocalandinternationalartworld.BizArtArtistinresidencyprogram:Inthepastyears,BizArthostedmanyinternationalartistscomingfromAsia,EuropeandAmerica(bothNorthandSouth).BizArtalsohostedtheworld-widepilotprogramArtistlinks,supportedbyArtCouncilEnglandandBritishCouncilforthelastthreeyears.Whileexhibitionspresentcontemporaryworktotheaudience,residenciesbringartisticideasoverandcontributetothecreativelifeofShanghaiatthelevelofproduction.InternationalvisitingartistsgainprofessionalandartisticdevelopmentthroughworkingwithBizArtandrespondingtothenewcultural,socialandartisticcontext.BizArtintendstocarryonthisartist-in-residenceprogramandhostinternationalartistsforuptotwomonths,mainlyfocusingonexchangesbetweenChinaandotherregionoftheFarEast.Thisexchangeproject,partofBizArt’sCompassProject,aimstocreateanetworkthroughoutAsiabetweenartisticorganizations,artistsandcurators.ThosewillbeconsequentiallychosenandinvitedamongAsiancountriesandChineseprovinces.Atpresent,residencieshavelimitedfundsandservicesareprovidedonanadhocbasis.BizArtcurrentlyseekscorefundsinordertoformalizeandfullyexploitthepossibilitiesforthisprogram.www.arthub.org.cnaboutArtHub:Re:ArtHub,aNot-For-ProfitOrganizationSupportingContemporaryArtCreationinChinaandtheRestofAsiaItismypleasuretointroducetoyouArtHub,aHongKongbasednot-for-profitorganizationfoundedrecentlytosupporttheartisticactivitiesofBizArtArtCentre,anot-for-profitartsorganizationwhosemissionandobjectivesaretofurtherthedevelopmentofcontemporaryartinChinaandtherestofAsia.EstablishedinHongKonginJanuary2007,ArtHub’smissionistoserveasapragmaticframeworkforsupportingcontemporaryartisticcreationinMainlandChinaandtherestofAsia.ArtHub’sAdvisoryCommitteeincludesmorethan40renownedandhighlyregardedartsprofessionalsandartists.www.arthub.org.cn
